The Ship – Emerald Liberte

With a capacity of 138 guests, and a series of cutting-edge amenities, the Emerald Liberté represents the next generation of river cruising. The suites, staterooms and public spaces are set across four beautifully-appointed decks – providing endless scope for relaxation and excitement whilst cruising the rivers Rhône & Saône. 

The Mediterranean climate provided by the southern reaches of France provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the open-air amenities of the Sun Deck. The top deck of the Emerald Liberté is blessed with a large area to sit back and relax, enjoy a barbecue with new friends or sink a few balls on the putting green. And the retractable glass roof winds back to reveal the swimming pool, so you can enjoy the gentle river breeze blow through your hair as you complete a few pre-breakfast laps. 

The Emerald Liberté has been meticulously designed and built to provide the future of river cruising – luxurious and comfortable passage aboard an attractive, contemporary vessel. Employing the knowledge of skilled, experienced interior design teams have created a river cruise ship which tastefully echoes the spirit of the southern French countryside through which the Emerald Liberté will navigate.

After a day spent exploring the delights of the destinations you visit along France’s waterways, you’ll return to relax in plenty of space and complete comfort – whether that’s sinking into a soft armchair or enjoying the fresh air from your balcony. 

Watch the sun rise in the morning, or dusk fall in the evening and enjoy a cool drink as the river’s picturesque landscapes glide by. Perfect your technique on the putting green. Take a dip in the swimming pool’s sparkling waters. Or simply lie back and relax on your sun lounger. However, you choose to spend your time on the Sun Deck, you’ll quickly realize that river cruising really is the most enjoyable way to travel. 

Just like a deluxe hotel, if you’d like to indulge in a bit of pampering you can always take advantage of the massage and relaxation area. Emerald Liberte also features exercise machines so you can continue with your normal work out regime. 

With French gastronomy now featured on the UNESCO World Heritage list, you’ll be taken on a journey with your HealthyMD-CME Master Chefs as you sample some of the region’s famous foods and specialty dishes during your river cruise. And with so many ripe vineyards rippling along the river banks, you can enjoy the variety of wines (all regionally sourced) that make up France’s signature flavors too.

Each contemporary, boutique hotel-style room in our wide range of cabin options is designed to really enhance your river cruise experience, with elegant, hand-picked furnishings right down to the smallest, thoughtful detail—like carefully placing mirrors in the best positions to help you get ready for the day ahead. Enjoy your own en suite bathroom, hotel-style bed, flat screen TV and infotainment system, individual climate control, complimentary WiFi, bottled water restocked daily, personal mini-bar fridge, and of course, plenty of storage and living space. All cabins on our Vista and Horizon decks are equipped with our revolutionary open-air system, designed to ensure all-weather enjoyment while taking in Europe’s beautiful landscapes.

To make a reservation please click on the registration buttons below and fill out the on-line tour registration forms. Once we receive your initial electronic registration, we will send via email or post mail your final registration forms to printed, filled out and signed then retuned via fax, email scan or post mail with your initial deposit. If you need assistance with your reservation please call us and we can do so over the phone.

Due to limited space on our cruises, reservations can only be guaranteed with a deposit of $1000 per person which must be received within 14-days of invoicing or reservation is subject to cancellation. Final payment must be received no later than 120 days prior to departure or booking is subject to cancellation and payments forfeited and non-transferable. Deposit may be made with credit card, check, wire, or bank transfer. Final payments can only be made by check, wire or bank transfer. We highly recommend all passengers take out travel insurance at time of initial booking.
